This
is the second edition of the PSBWFPWL.
Winter had just started. Things didn't
seem much different then they did a few
weeks earlier, except, there were only a
few of us. Very few of us. The Watch List included a few schedule entries. We only had 60 movies for the whole year. There was a new release each week. Even the first showing of State Fair could draw the entire station. We understood how easy it could be to become inactive and apathetic. We created the Palmer Station University. It would eventually include the entire brain trust of our small society. Our team had to run what amounts to a small, self-sustaining city. We each had unique and interesting skills. Classes included: Mores Code, Welding, Computer Science, Socio biology, Baking, CPR/first aid, Ground School and more. 'G of W' (Week of the Week) - We would take turns doing domestic chores, cleaning the common areas and bathrooms, ect.. |
